News

Progress takes time and for Chinchilla’s newest CCCI president, Jim Strongman, he plans to use that wisely and give the town a loud voice. Despite having a large working history as a director of many support groups such as Foster Families, this is the first time Mr Strongman has put his hand up and been elected as president of the CCCI. He said he has already put the wheels in motion for many initiatives across Chinchilla to assist local businesses through 2012. “I would like to see CCCI being a financially sustainable asset of the community,” he said. “We’re already looking at various projects and ways to help out, especially with the new workplace health and safety rules that are taking place.
