Amanda Davis

Amanda has been an active board member of the CCCI for a number of years. Last year Amanda chaired a very action packed year for the community and liveability portfolio of the CCCI.  Amanda has been a resident in the local area for over 5 years and is quite active in the Chinchilla Community. Amanda is involved in several community groups and also chairs the Western Downs Careers Group, this group is the working group that facilitates the yearly Western Downs Careers Expo.  Amanda is supported by her husband Wayne. Wayne is a Chinchilla local and he currently manages his family farming company at Hopeland, on the outskirts of Chinchilla.  In Amanda’s working career, her role includes recruitment, mediation/pastrol care of Apprentices and Trainees, researching and recognising qualifications/training requirements – relevant to business/industry, liaising with various training providers and stakeholders on all levels, effective business and community engagement. Amanda is currently working on Strengthening Local Workforce Program with Busy At Work. Amanda is very excited to be part of the CCCI in this time of growth for our region.
